Harold Wilson Centenary Celebration

17 March 2016 (by crowlane)

On Friday 11th March Year 6 took part in the centenary celebration for the former Prime Minister Harold Wilson at Royd's Hall High School. Visit our gallery to see some photographs of the day.

Year 6 took part in the centenary celebration for the former Prime Minister Harold Wilson, who grew up and went to school in Milnsbridge. They worked with Gill and Andy from Satellite Arts to create a performance based on the industrial heritage of Milnsbridge. They joined RHHS and Cowersley Primary School to perform in front of an audience, which included members of Harold's family. The children had a fantastic day and were brilliant role models for our school. Well done Year 6, you did us proud!
