Live to learn, learn to live
What a child wears to school reflects his/her attitude to learning, it portrays the school’s ethos and shared positive values. We have a very simple uniform that the pupils are expected to wear. This is a royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan (with or without school logo), a white or pale blue polo shirt (with or without logo) and grey or black trousers or skirt. School uniform items with logo, including sweatshirts, fleeces, reversible outdoor coats and polo shirts can be purchased from several outlets in Huddersfield. However, we do not insist on badged items, so polo shirts etc from supermarket outlets are quite acceptable.
Shoes must be black, ideally 'leather look' but trainers are acceptable if they have no coloured logos or markings.
It is essential that all clothing is clearly labelled with your child's name.
PE Kit
It is important for pupils to wear correct clothing for physical activities. PE requires a royal blue or white T-shirt and dark shorts (black or navy). Games activities outside also require trainers, and, in the winter months, track suit bottoms and sweatshirts may be worn. All clothing should be clearly labelled. Jewellery must not be worn for sporting activities, earrings must be removed and long hair should be tied back.
